Faculty of Social and Political Sciences
Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of Universitas Gadjah Mada -previously known as Academy of Political Science- was established to educate the government bureaucrat candidates in domestic, information, and foreign fields in the beginning of Indonesian Independency. In the early of Universitas Gadjah Mada’s establishment, social and political science studies was in the same faculty with law science and economy. Later on, the faculty of social and political was formed separatedly since 1955 which later changed into Faculty of Social and Political Science, abbreviated as FISIPOL.
