Hi FISIPOL Students!

April lalu, GEO FISIPOL UGM menyelenggarakan sharing session bersama Sandy Maulana Yusuf, salah satu alumni UGM yang merupakan awardee DIKTI Bridging Course 2021. Dalam kesempatan ini, GEO FISIPOL akan membahas mengenai serba-serbi Bridging Course dan keuntungannya untuk mahasiswa serta alumni!

DIKTI Bridging Course merupakan program persiapan untuk meningkatkan peluang mendapatkan beasiswa studi di berbagai universitas di luar negeri. Alasan khusus mengapa Bridging Course DIKTI diselenggarakan karena syarat untuk menembus beasiswa dan universitas luar negeri yakni cukup tinggi, seperti nilai IELTS yang harus melebihi 6.5.

Selain itu, dalam proses proses pendaftaran S2 luar negeri diperlukan motivation letter—personal statement— yang menjadi titik penting dalam program persiapan untuk mengikuti studi lanjut di luar negeri. 

Tahun ini, DIKTI Bridging Course memiliki persyaran sebagai berikut :

  1. Indonesian
  2. Have a bachelor degree or a active student in Indonesia’s Universities
  3. Maximum 40 years old
  4. Have a commitment to continue to master degree
  5. Have a good academic achievement
  6. GPA minimum 3.25
  7. Have TOEFL (500) or IELTS 6.0
  8. Recommendation from Faculty/Academic Supervisor (Student) or Workplace *optional

Untuk tahun ini, Bridging Course dapat diikuti oleh teman-teman mahasiswa akhir ataupun para alumni, selama belum berumur 40 tahun dan untuk teman-teman alumni yang belum bekerja juga tidak perlu mencamtukan surat rekomendasi.

[Taiwan] 2022 Taiwan Experience Education Program

Dear Students!

Taiwan’s Ministry of Education launched the Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP) in 2015 to encourage more international students to participate in short-term professional internship projects organized by Taiwanese universities and colleges. TEEP also allows international students to gain an in-depth educational experience in Taiwan, while also preparing themselves for the Asian job market.

TEEP programs are also available in emerging fields such as Information Communication Technology (ICT), Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain Technology, Semiconductors, 5G Wireless Communications, Advanced Manufacturing, Smart Manufacturing, Robotics, Green Energy, Biosensors, Logistics Management, Molecular Biology and Smart Health Care, as well as Mandarin Language Training or Cultural Experience Courses.

The wide range of programs under TEEP provides students from all backgrounds opportunities to immerse themselves in the operations of key Taiwan companies and industries. Moreover, TEEP helps students find relevant and useful job placements at various companies. In these positions, students will gain firsthand knowledge that will put them well on their way in the business world. To ease participants into their internships in Taiwan, TEEP also features cultural immersion activities to improve language and cultural fluency. All participants are provided with high-quality dormitory accommodations, as well as opportunities to learn to speak Mandarin Chinese.

Taiwan is an ideal place for international students who want to learn Mandarin Chinese, also called Mandarin, Huayu, Guoyu, Hanyu, Putonghua, and Zhongwen in Chinese-speaking communities around the world. Taiwan is also an ideal place for learning traditional Chinese characters, which allows you to better connect with classic Chinese literature and culture. Furthermore, learning Chinese will help you communicate with Chinese speakers around the world. TEEP Program will provide awardee maximum 15.000 NTD for every TEEP awardee, also so many opportunities for student to get courses and research in Taiwan.

[Malaysia] USM Archi-Cultural Summer Programme 2022

Dear Students!

 

Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), cordially inviting you to join their physical (in-person) Summer Programme with the theme Archi-Cultural. Students will learn the unique architecture in Malaysia and with a little twist of Malaysian culture as well.

 

The Archi-Cultural Summer Program is not only for students majoring in architecture but it is also suitable for students majoring in other courses. This is to allow the students to familiarize with the unique architecture Malaysia has to offer and also the diverse culture in Malaysia that is available.

 

Exciting activities and site visits around Penang will also be included in the summer programme. All the details of the Archi-Cultural Summer Programme is provided in the brochure attached in this email. The brochure will also include the link and QR code for the participation of students.

 

The details and fee for the Archi-Cultural Summer Programme is as follows:

 

Location : University Sains Malaysia (USM) Main Campus, Penang Island

Duration : 13th August – 27th August

Normal fee : 650USD

Early bird rate : 550USD

 

The programme fees cover the academics. classes, cultural activities and excursions throughout the programm. Whereas USM will be providing hostel accommodation and daily breakfast and lunches for participants from our partner universities for FREE.
