Greetings from Vienna, Austria!

The Austrian Embassy has the pleasure to convey an offer from the University of Vienna regarding its Summer School Online Program for European Cultural Studies: Art & History that will be held from 17 to 30 July 2021.

The two-week program offers two academic courses taught online. One course deals with history, politics, and everyday life, and the second course approaches Europe from the artistic side and examines and analyzes the visual culture in Europe.

The courses are held by distinguished scholars with international teaching experience and offer the possibility to discuss European art and history with students from all over the world.

Social online gatherings as well as group work in breakout rooms will encourage intercultural and social exchange between the students. Participants thus broaden their horizon, meet colleagues from different fields of study, and make new friends.

The application deadline is 15 June 2021 and for more information about this Summer School Online Program can be found at their homepage here.

Further information or special request, you may contact Ms. Verena Bauer, Program Coordinator, at sommerhochschule@univie.ac.at.
