Dear Partners:

Greeting from Ritsumeikan University, Japan!

Ritsumeikan have started recruiting process for overseas applicants who wish to study at one of our graduate schools from September 2023 with the assistance of Japanese Government funded scholarship.

This scholarship, which covers the admission fee, tuition fees, provides a monthly stipend and roundtrip tickets to/from Japan, is offered by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (acronym “MEXT” (in Japanese, “Monbukagakusho”)), and will be made available to students whose applications are approved by MEXT based on a recommendation made by Ritsumeikan University. Ritsumeikan University would be pleased to recommend alumni and/or students from your university who are scheduled to graduate from their current academic program by September 25th, 2023 who wish to take advantage of this potential opportunity to undertake government-sponsored graduate level studies in Japan.

Information about this year’s admission and scholarship application process, along with application procedures and application forms, are available on our website. This year’s application deadline is December 22nd. There is a chance that another graduate school(s) may recruit additional applicants, however, in which case info would be posted later in December and the relevant deadline would likely fall in late January. We would greatly appreciate it if you could direct any interested alumni or students nearing graduation at your university to the following page, or share with them the attached PDF.
