The 1st ASEAN Youth Initiative Empowerment Program is open for international students!
We’re happy to announce that we open the 2nd wave of application welcoming students all over the world to experience Southeast Asia like you’ve never seen it before. AYIEP is a summer program held by the ASEAN Studies Center, Gadjah Mada University. For 8 days participants will dive into ASEAN dimensions and elements which made this regional institution and the region one.
Our focus is to spread awareness, empower people from all over the world, provide a platform for friendship, networking, and sharing experiences among youths. Together we dig deeper on salient issues in Southeast Asia such as women and children, disabilities, and religious ethnicities. Followed by excursions, NGO visitations, and social-cultural night.
We invite you all to our beloved city of Yogyakarta, a city of culture, knowledge, and joy, located in the heart of Java island with rich historical background, the perfect spot to learn and meet people.
See you in August!
