Humanitarian supply chain-management (SCM), as defined by International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, is about “acquiring and delivering the requested supplies and services at the places and times when they are needed, whilst ensuring best value for money, in the immediate aftermath of any type of disaster or reconstruction situation, including items that are vital for survival, such as food, water, temporary shelter and medicine.”
NOHA-UGM School on Humanitarian Supply Chain Management and Logistics including Regional Perspectives invites interested students, academics, officials, and practitioners with any level of familiarity on the subject to join a three-days course to acquire a deeper knowledge and critical understanding of concepts and theories concerning humanitarian supply chain management and logistics, and its regional perspectives.
