Information for Inbound Students and Partners January 2019

 

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

 

  1. Recommendation letter
  2. Copy of Official Academic Transcript
  3. Curriculum Vitae
  4. Motivation Letter
  5. Certificate of English language proficiency (Min. Score of TOEFL 530, iBT 80 or IELTS 6.0)
  6. Certificate of enrollment from faculty
  7. Letter of Nomination from faculty (*addressed to Head of Office of International Affairs)
  8. Copy of Passport

 

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

  1. Submit the aforementioned documents to Office of International Affairs, UGM (Bulaksumur F-12) for internal review;
  2. OIA UGM will evaluate your application;
  3. Once you are selected as Nominated Student, OIA will send your application to host university;
  4. FINAL decision from host university;
  5. Host university will contact you using the details that you have provided to inform them of how to access our Study Abroad Online Application Form.

Please send all documents in 2 Hardcopies (1 original and 1 copy) to Office of International Affairs, UGM (Bulaksumur Block F-12) and 1 Softcopy (Scan all applicants’ filled-out application materials in one PDF File) by email to scholarship@ugm.ac.id by:

  • May 10, 2019 for September 2019 starters
  • September 13, 2019 for January 2020 starters

[UK] Birmingham International Summer School 2019

Dear Students,
The University of Birmingham is pleased to announce that applications are open for the International Summer School 2019. It is an excellent opportunity for international students to study in the Heart of England at one of the most beautiful campuses in the UK and to experience British culture.
There are six programmes on offer in 2019:

  • Biomedical Sciences: From Laboratory Bench to Hospital Bedside
  • British Cultural Heritage
  • Film and Media
  • Global Environmental Issues
  • Mathematical Finance and Financial Time Series Analysis
  • Theory and Practice of Global Politics
All programmes are delivered by University faculty who are experts in their field. Where programmes are formally assessed students will have the opportunity to earn credits for their study. Students will also have the opportunity to gain a valuable insight into the fascinating culture of Britain through an extensive social programme.
The programme dates of the Summer School are: 15 July – 2 August 2019.
Further details of this exciting Summer School including programme content, fees and the application process can be found on the BISS website.
We welcome applications from you. To recognise the highly-valued relationships between Birmingham and our international partners, we would like to offer £150 discount towards the programme fees for you who are eligible for BISS.
In addition, we are also offering a further discount to students from Universitas 21 partners.
Applications for BISS are now open and can be submitted online, by the deadline of 22 April 2019.
